“Positraction”, 2019 Gelding standing 16.1 currently (and growing) sired by Include out of a Smarty Jones mare. Chevy, as he’s called in the barn had a brief and slow race career before retiring recently. He has no known injuries / vices. He is RRP eligible. Where do we even start with this one? Talk about a total schmoozer! Chevy is as sweet as they come with a puppy dog personality, great manners and just an overall easy going temperament. Farm life is definitely for him and he settled into our routine quickly. He leads around without a shank, was perfect for the farrier, stands nicely in ties, good for bathing, grooming, etc. this guy has not put a foot wrong. We did his first post track ride and Chevy was fabulous, he’s a sensible guy that’s super rideable, comfortable and fancy! He truly ticks all the boxes and is the type that’s both safe enough for an ammy but nice enough for a pro. I could see him easily transitioning into an eventing / dressage career in not much time at all. He started to stretch into the contact as we went along and was very balanced, did his changes for us both directions. He’s a lovely mover with great uphill gaits. He was lightly started over jumps and was excellent, by the end he was trotting around a little course in good form and cantering out quietly. This one is going to take no time to bring along and going to be such a fun partner for his next owner. I could see an older teen really enjoying this guy as well, he’s a total best friend type!
