Sally is an 8 year old grade Shetland pony. She stands about 45" tall and is ready to be some kiddos #1! Sally is broke to ride like a big horse. She moves off your legs and is soft in the bridle. She's been ridden inside, outside, on trails, down the road, in parades and at some shows. We've primarily ridden her western and started her on some of the games. She would be an adorable hunt pony with some more English miles. Her previous owners said she's been trained to pull a cart, but we haven't tried it. Sally has had a few foals in the past, but even with time off she holds her training well. Sally stands great while tied at home or at the trailer and loads willingly. She stands quietly for the vet and farrier. She's had her spring shots, been on a regular deworming protocol, has a current Coggins, had her feet trimmed every 8 weeks and was just trimmed April 6th. Her teeth are scheduled to be floated April 14th. She has no current or any past health issues, is sound with excellent feet and has no history of founder. Sally has been used in a lesson program and she has had beginners ride her easily with our direction. Sally is a forward moving pony but she has a good stop. She walks, trots and canters willingly. She would be an excellent fit for an advanced beginner or a kid that is ready to transition out of leadline. Or let your kid use her for leadline and transition to riding when they're ready.
