Docks Chocolate Chip - AKA - Manny, is a 2008 model Rocky Mountain Horse. 15.1 hh with a solid/strong build. Ties, loads, travels well, bathes tacks up, stalls, pastures with mares/geldings, no vices, no buck/rear/bolt/kick. He is UTD on everything. Manny has a nice running walk and rack. He is a “slow gaiter”. Meaning he would prefer to mossie along a trail and smell the roses. His owner is an endurance rider and Manny has found keeping up with a fast trot a bit frustrating. He would much rather be an “enjoy the journey” type of horse. Manny is best suited for an amateur trail rider who knows how to ride and help a horse along if needed. He as been ridden fine by advanced beginners. He will maintain his gaits better with someone who knows how to ask for them. He prefers to be out and about with other horses when possible. He’s been camping, on the beach, on country roads, in closed forests, and in open forests. Like most RMH’s Manny is an average to easy keeper and is taken off spring grass to keep his trim/fit figure. He has nice-sized hooves and has done best with shoes or boots until our very wet environment is finally dry. This is a really sweet horse who is looking for his own person to dote on him daily. The proper match is a must. He is currently in lite/moderate work and is ready to hit a trail-riding filled summer. Asking $9500 obo
