Rocky loves people! You never have to "try" to catch him, just give a whistle and he comes running! He is trained and tuned up this spring to be ready to ride! He has lived without other horses most of his life, but loves being with other horses as well. He served at "Hearts That Heal Riding School" in Kamiah Idaho for two seasons doing mostly trail rides. He has been used with a packsaddle, some. Rocky is very calm and easy to work with. I have a collar and harness that fit him well, if you are interested in training him to pull a cart. I have had it on him but have not done any work with it, lots of potential there. He is quite the character, lots of personality. He would make a great therapy horse, as well as lots of fun to ride and do work with! He is about as low maintenance of a horse as they come. Our ground is rocky and his feet self-trim very nicely. He has never worn shoes and his hooves don't split. I give him his shots every 6 months and worm him and he's good to go, he self regulates his feed, and he eats less than most horses.
