Indy is a beautiful 12 year old 15.2 Hand dapple gray Friesian cross gelding. he has big feet and good bone. This is a classy, moving horse that’s super smooth traveling in all gaits. He is well trained and very gentle but will pick it up and go when asked. Good one Hand Neck rein, takes his leads and will lope out of his tracks. Backs and side passes with ease and he will stop like a dead end street! He is an absolute pleasure to ride and is very comfortable. Indy is outstanding to ride out anywhere. From our busy urban streets to the rugged mountain trails he is solid and dependable. In the neighborhood scene he is unaffected by the fast passing vehicles, farm animals, and the neighbors dogs barking and running up at us. He is a dream to take out to the mountains as well. He will lead, follow, rides quietly in group or will go out on his own. Crosses the tarp, the river, creeks, down timber and goes wherever we point him with confidence and ease. He is sure footed in the rocks and in the steep terrain and he navigates our rugged trails very well. This is a quiet minded, good-natured gelding that always wants to please. He gets along well turned out with other horses and is equally fine in a corral by himself or a box stall.
