Rhea is a 15.2H, 7 yr old grade bay roan mare and is absolutely EXCEPTIONAL! She is one of the easiest horses we’ve had the pleasure of representing in a long time! Rhea is a very level minded, gelding-like mare and is ZERO drama. She has a very nice handle and is incredibly easy to get a long with. She is not spooky in the slightest and handles all new things very confidently. Rhea goes exactly where you point her, when you point her, at the speed you point her there. She does not hesitate to cross anything scary, including water. She’s has one of the most people pleasing personalities and you can tell she truly cares about her rider. Being almost 8 months pregnant myself, I have been very hesitant to ride much. Not only do I TRUST Rhea 100%, she is COMFORTABLE. She makes riding fun even with my big, unbalanced belly. You absolutely cannot go wrong this one. She would be the perfect trail horse for anyone just the way she sits, or she has all the potential in the world to go on and make a performance horse in any event. Rhea picks up both leads effortlessly, stops great, has an exceptional handle with all the makings for a rope or barrel prospect. We could see her very quickly making a solid ranch versatility horse as well. She is incredibly soft in the bridle and moves of legs perfectly. She is great around cattle and would be a fantastic fit for a family looks for an all around horse for every member. Rhea is one that absolutely would not be leaving the barn if we weren’t expecting a newborn in a month. We would add her to our personal string in a heartbeat otherwise!
