Amadeo is a 2017 dark bay TB mare. 17.0 hh (JC Bonita Senorita). She is currently showing in 2’0” hunter divisions locally but is ready to move up. Lovely mover. Easy changes both directions. Gorgeous topline and fantastic feet. No bad habits.
I purchased her as a 3-year-old off the track (via Benchmark Sport Horses) where she trained but never raced. I started her slowly and correctly on the flat for a year then started her over fences as a 4-year-old. Brave to the jumps. Plenty of step and scope. Very soft mouth. She is definitely a finesse ride and loves soft hands. Stretches into contact. She is a pleasure to ride. Easy enough for a competent junior or amateur with a trainer to finish. She will make a fantastic mount for the rated TB hunters. She does require minor maintenance including two supplements (1AC for sweating and Smart GI Ultra from SmartPak for gut health) and sedation for farrier (prior to my purchasing her she must have had a bad experience with shoeing at some point).
I am selling her because I don’t have time to do her justice anymore. We have a two horse trailer and between my daughter's ponies and my project Amadeo ends up left behind most show weekends. She is too nice to be sitting in my field when she could be making somebody’s dreams come true. PPEs welcome. https://photos.app.goo.gl/FUYnJSvXwszRSGG48 Serious further inquiry only.
