“Cinch” is a 15.1 hand , 13yr old, Quarter horse gelding. Cinch is a unicorn, grandma safe, husband sized, quiet and lovable, what more could you ask for? This boy is an amazing all around horse!
In the barn, Cinch has no bad habits. He can live in, or out, and goes out with a mixed herd with no drama he is low on the pecking order. Cinch never bothers the fence or gets clingy to the other horses. He’s excellent to blanket in the winter but it is not necessary. He will stand on the cross ties to be groomed, bathed, tacked, etc. He is a very sweet boy with a chill, laid back personality.
Cinch rides western, english, and bareback. He is a more whoa than go type of guy, but you don’t need a crop and spurs to get him moving. He has very comfortable, easy gaits.
On the trails, this boy will go anywhere! He takes amazing care of his rider, and absolutely anyone can ride him. He will lead, follow, go alone, and in groups. He goes where you point, or will walk behind on the buckle and follow the horse in front. He is not spooky at all. He doesn’t mind rowdy dogs running all around him or running beside him. Cinch crosses logs, water, rocks, and takes care of his rider when obstacles come up. Trail rides are super fun and relaxing with Cinch!
In the ring, Cinch will w/t/c and pop over fences. He is gentle and kind, and he can certainly take a joke. He will ride on the bucket in every gait, and he has a good whoa button. He is the same horse every ride, whether he has been sitting, or ridden yesterday.
Cinch loads right up into the trailer and hauls quietly. He is the same horse off property as he is on. He neck reins and direct reins and will ride in a D ring snaffle or any type of bit you prefer. He is an easy keeper, no maintenance or supplements, and has good feet. Cinch is ready to take care of his next rider. Husband, wife, guest or kids horse he will do the job and treat them all the same.
