Hello! Due to our growing family, my beloved OTTB, Decoded “Coco”, is available for a care lease! Coco is 9 years old, 15.2, and incredibly athletic. While she is on the smaller side, she does not feel small due to being what we lovingly refer to as "thick". For reference, I am 5'9" and I don't feel too tall for her! Coco was a successful racehorse and has been with me since her retirement from the track as a four-year-old.

I have done primarily eventing with her, competing through Novice and schooling Training at Ram Tap, Twin Rivers, Shepard Ranch, and Twin Rivers. With the right person and time, she could easily be competitive at the Training level. Coco is a silly, personable gal who is incredibly brave and loves her job! She is what you would consider a "good mare"-- she will try her heart out for her rider! She is suited for a confident intermediate rider who would like a fun and honest eventing/cross-country/jumpers star who wants to move up the levels. She would also be great for a teen/adult beginner who wants to stick to learning the ropes in the arena!

Coco is a horse show extraordinaire. She loves the competitive atmosphere and is one of the rare red-headed mares whose personality doesn’t really change when taken off property for schooling, shows, clinics, etc. Coco is excellent on the trail (bareback and in a hackamore, even!) with or without other horses. She goes through Carmel River, over bridges and up mountains on a regular basis.
