I’ve come to the conclusion that when I bought this mare I was trying to fill a void that will never be filled.

My Hot Toddy 2015 appendix mare. 16hh. Solid 2D and absolutely has the speed and potential to be a 1D. Knows the poles. I’m to the point that I would like to focus on training vs trying to make it in the barrel racing. This mare will go to waste if I keep her. I’ve only had her a couple months so I cannot tell you every detail on her. She is a big mare with a big motor with a baby doll personality. This mare is not for children and she is not for novice riders. She doesn’t do anything wrong but you need to know how to ride a big barrel horse with your seat vs your hands. She has a lot of buttons and she doesn’t mess around. She is low on the pecking order and sweet as a bug. Goes in the arena flat footed. I don’t do this horse justice and I understand that.
She hauls and ties great.
