If you are looking for a family horse with experience for husband, wife, kids or all of the above, Cash fits the description. He is a super gentle all around gelding we bought from the breeder off the mare, he is nine years old and has had lots of experience, trail horse deluxe, whether on a mountain trail and shown in ranch versatility and always brings home rewards, shown in ranch cutting – won the end of year award buckle in the 5000 class 2022, he’s great trail/backcountry gentle and very surefooted, he’ll pack anything. I taught an 11 year old girl how to ride on him, he did excellent taking good care of her, when she rode him bareback and was slipping Cash would just stop and wait for her to get herself resituated. Cash meets you at the gate, catch him anywhere even when loose in the mountains, he has been hauled a lot to shows and to trail ride, hauls in a slant load or a sock horse trailer, gets along with other horses good. I’ve used him to start colts, he is great for curbside mounting, side passing to you no matter what you’re standing on, and stands until he’s told to move, he’s very patient when giving lessons to other and when asked lopes out of a stop, spins, huge stopper, flying lead changes straight up the pen and only changes when asked, will change anytime asked even on a corner, side passes, backs, haunches in, shoulder in, lopes and stops on a lose rein, stays inside the bridle. Cash saddles up every day quietly standing and never cinchy or cold backed and stays that way even when not rode for an extended period of time. Cash is a champ to ride out by himself or with others, he’s happy taking the lead or following others. He’ll also lead a pack string or you can pack him. Travels through and over any terrain, even shoulder deep snow. He’ll drag anything you want to drag, even calves to the fire to be branded. Cash mounts and stands on a small wood platform, opens shuts gate from any direction or side, backs through poles, crosses any bridge with confidence. I started Cash and he’s been a champ to train, show and own, never been lame,
