"Figaro" 2010, 16.3 Gelding USEF #5449657 Figgy has spent the past few years packing around junior riders everywhere from Medal and Maclay Finals to the 1.20 Junior Jumpers and Hunter Derbies. With an extensive show record, he has taken kids from the 2'6 to the 3'6+, and is now looking for the perfect step-down job. Figgy would love to find a home where he can spend the rest of his days teaching a lucky junior or amateur the ropes of the 2'-3'. For a horse of his age and experience, he requires some maintenance, but nothing ridiculous. He is an easy keeper who loves his turnout and truly has a heart of gold. Fig has a little bit of pep in his step, and while he will never buck, bolt, or spook (seriously, he never needs to see the ring or the jumps...did we mention he also has an auto change?), he has his own motor and will carry himself over fences and on the flat without needing to be kicked every stride. He will stand in the crossties for hours and enjoy being brushed, and has even been used for numerous group therapy events! Figgy loves a hack in the field and will happily trail ride. With an equitation background, he knows all the tricks and flats beautifully, even attending local dressage shows. He's been cross-country schooling and even participated in costume classes.
