Renato is from New Mexico. He was round up by the BLM as a 3 yr old stallion. He was gelded, adopted and started under saddle. He has been used for Westernaires and high-country trails. He is not into roundpen or groundwork. He will literally stop, stand and stare at you. If you persist, he can be a bit pushy. Not dangerous, just pushy. Recommend intermediate rider or beginner with trainer for this reason. He would much rather be pulled out, groomed, tacked and head out. Trails are his jam. He has been exposed to dogs, kids, ATVs, heavy equipment, bikes, bags, tents, kids on trampoline, traffic etc. Nothing phases him. He will cross bridges, water, cut his own path or is content to hang back to bring up the rear. Stands for farrier, vet, bath, tacking. Will tie, cross-tie and load. Is UTD on vx, trims and will have dental this month. This guy is COOL! Wish I could keep him, but just have too many.
