It’s not every day you find a horse like Oak Hills Nell. She is a Friesian (75%) Percheron (25%) mare. Registered with the Friesian Sport Horse Registry. She is sired by none other than Dominator CS who’s by Wander and out of Jania who is sired by wander and out of a percheron mare. She is one of the most stunning horses you will set your eyes on both inside and out. Nell is not only put together as pretty as a picture out of a book but she has the personality to match. She is kind respectful and sensible. Nell stands a solid 17hh at 8 years old. She carries herself with amazing self carriage, balance, grace, and cadence in all of her gaits. Nell has a quiet drop the reins kind of walk, a stunning but yet smooth trot and a canter you can sit all day long. She takes both leads from the walk and stops on a dime. She has the conformation and movement to excel in any show ring. Nell moves off of seat and leg pressure with ease. Pull the bridle off or drop the reins and you can navigate her just about anywhere you want to go just off of your leg. She aims to please in any situation you put her in. Nell LOVES the trails. We have taken her out alone and in groups and there’s no brush to thick, no water to deep, or hill to steep for her! This girl absolutely loves soaking in the Scenery. With that being said yes she hauls great. He has seen much of Michigan and Ohios state and metro parks and has been ridden thru some Michigans most beautiful hunt country. Nell is also broke to drive and he dose so with such elegance and class. She looks nothing short of royal while hitched and would make a stellar carriage horse or pleasure driving type. One of her best characteristics is her aptitude towards liberty work. This girl loves it. You can lead her with out so much as a rope climb up on a block and with a simple snap she will steep right in line for you to hop on. She will lay down with a gentle tap of your foot while on her back or while you stand beside her. This feature comes in very handy if you’re out and about and need a fast way to hop on! She will nod her head yes and no and will even sit down. Her personality is unparalleled.
