"Chief" will earn a place in you barn and heart so quickly! Chief loves attention and is so tender hearted. He is the sweetest boy and trusted with the most precious cargo. We just finished kicking off summer with our friends riding, camping and swimming for 5 days! Chief was a trooper and never once thought about being sour or silly! He packed Ben, who is 6 years old, all 5 days. Together they rode though thick brush, up and down very steep trails and led the way for all to follow! He is ready to meet you at the gate, saddles and bridles quietly. Chief knows the lay down and sidepasses to pick you up off the fence or block. Chief has been in all types of country and trail rides the very best. He handles steep ditches, logs, water crossing and bridges. He overnight camps, ties to a high line, and hobbles well. Chief will gather and sort cattle. He has a nice walk, smooth jog and short lope. He will go out alone or with other horses. He is easy to catch, lead, load, haul, stands tied, bathe, groom, pick feet, saddle, bridle, and quiet for the vet and farrier. Stands for mount and dismount. Chief picks up both of his leads, has a great simple lead change and started on his flying changes. He has a nice stop and great neckrein.
