Should mature to around 15 hands.

Oakley is a very smart and athletic yearling buckskin paint filly. Up to date on vaccines and worming. Stands great for farrier and vet work. Great around dogs. Comes up to greet you every time to be haltered. She’s very friendly with people and other horses.

Her owner has put many hours in with her. She stands tied and cross ties. She round pens great and has been on a lunge line a few times. They have gone slow with her being young. She backs with little or no pressure with halter. Side steps off hand pressure. She has been hobbled and hauled in a horse trailer a couple times. Stands to be bathed as well.

She’s been to a de-spooking clinic and rocked it! Can throw a tarp over her and she isn’t phased. She has been on trail course, crosses bridges, water, goes under floppy pool noodles and steps over logs with no hesitation. Has been around flags and pastures well with other horses. Been on long hand walks wearing a bareback pad. Blankets and wears a fly sheet in the summertime.

Her owners were out of horses for a while and brought her home. They are looking to find her a great home where she will get love, attention and eventually a job. She would even make a great barrel prospect. Owners are looking for an older been there done that type/husband safe horse and a yearling isn’t it. She isn’t not safe, just young and has an opinion sometimes. No rearing, striking or any funny business - but not for a beginner.
