Scooter is gentle, laid back and easy going. Suitable for beginners/inexperienced rider. Rides bareback and has been ridden double under saddle. He has been hauled extensively: Including several trips to the Montana Mountains, participated/competed at obstacle courses, team penning, ranch sorting events/competitions and even won some cash.
He has had all the ranch life exposure from gathering cattle, sorting pairs, roped and drug calves for branding, roped and heeled cattle in the pasture for doctoring. Pulled sled with calves in it up to the barn during calving. And of course just a plain ole simple leisure trail ride on a nice cool MN evening.
Rides out great alone or with a group. Taken him on camping trips by himself and stands alone tied to an overhead cable at camp without fussing. Scooter is the one that is pulled out of the pasture when folks come to ride that haven’t ridden much, if at all.
Loads great, up to date on vaccinations, worming, current coggins and farrier work.
