Sugar is ready for her next adventure and priced to sell quick!
Sugar is well suited for the confident beginner/intermediate rider, and would be a fantastic 4-H/Pony Club horse. She ties, hauls, lunges (and free lunges), and has been in lessons with her owner for over 2 years. Since we've started working her here at Rodeo City Ranch, it's became apparent that Sugar is previously trained in natural horsemanship methods. We are slowly getting her back in shape, and she's a very fun ride on the trails. She's recently been hauled to drill practice, and was unfazed by all the activity and was very calm under saddle. Clearly was not her first rodeo!
She is an alpha mare, and would do best in a paddock by herself, or in a setting where she can be the boss with other horses. Once under saddle, she loves to work. She's the first to walk up to you, sticks her nose in her halter, and is ready to work. She wants a job, and is going to be a fantastic partner for the right rider. Super easy keeper, and is currently on orchard grass and a little alfalfa with hoof supplements. She is on daily equioxx per the vet's recommendation for maintenance.
