Caddy had extensive ground work as a yearling simply because he was my hands-down favorite! So quick to learn, so willing to offer. Since then he has matured into a dropdead gorgeous, strong, athletic gelding. Good bone, great feet and legs, as handsome as they come and that eye-catching golden color.
Caddy has the size and athleticism to do just about anything. He is a very pretty mover, and quick on his feet. He had 60+ days professional training under saddle as a two-year-old, and a six week refresher course this spring, so he is ready to take off into his career.
My crystal ball says reiner, ranch rider, header, barrels, high school rodeo and/or straight up ranch gelding. But I firmly believe the horse will show you what he’s good at, so really, his options are wide open.
As my personal circumstances have been… “interesting,” I am cutting way back on numbers. So this is your chance to find a lifelong partner with the build, breeding and early handling to excel in your discipline or multiple disciplines (like his dad!) At 22 years old, Leitachic is still sound and going strong.
