Meet Izzadorable, 2 yr old quarter pony with fantastic color! Her dam is a 13.3h chesnut quarter pony that we rescued from a feed lot in 2021, and 30 days later Izzy was born. Izzy stands approx 13.2, but without knowing anything about her sire we are not sure what her mature height will be. Izzy is extremely sociable and has been handled from birth, extremely smart and brave. She will do well with an owner who understands intelligent, sometimes willful horses. Beautiful dun/buckskin coat with a crisp dorsal stripe, white short socks on hinds, faint zebra stripes on back of front legs, blonde mane and tail and a single white star on her forehead with white-tipped ears. Due to malnutrition Izzy developed front club feet when she was quite young, and at 8 months of age we had surgery performed to correct this. She recovered beautifully and has clean, balanced xrays, her veterinarians could not be more pleased. We trim her every 4-5 weeks to assure her balance stays correct. She is ready to start anywhere you want to take her, and she is great for the farrier and vet, has been trailered, good in the crossties and we have not found anything that scares her, she is quite bold and a little sassy. She is a social butterfly and prefers to be around people and other horses - she complains when she is turned out by herself! She is currently being worked 4x per week in a sursingle and bridle to maintain and build her condition, and she has worn a saddle with no issues at all. She's ready for her new home and someone to make her a star!
