“Chevy” is a stunning palomino daughter of the great GRP stallion, Bennos Dream - many times the sire of elite foals and a wonderful competitor in Dressage and Jumping. Her dam is the buckskin mare - El Dorado. Chevy is the dam of three foals: one palomino GRP colt by Golden State, one cremello GRP filly by Golden State and a Half Arabian bay Filly by Sivmen B. Three exceptional foals! Last foaled in 2020.
She was broke to ride and is sound for light riding work - trails, light arena work, etc are avenues she would enjoy. She is not suitable for barrels or jumping. With her previous owner she was rode dressage, did some cattle work and went out for hacks. Due to her sitting and being out of consistent work for sometime, she is due for a refresh to return to regular riding work.
Pasture sound without issue. Blankets, loads, baths, stands for the farrier, ties, grooms, good for the vet, etc. Fantastic mother - easy to foal out, dealing with foals, etc. Chevy is a boss mare in turnout arrangements, she does best in individual turnout beside or near other horses given this.
Chevy is available as we’re downsizing - her last foal was a gorgeous Half Arabian filly for us. She would do well being bred to GRP’s (such as Golden State or Milky Way), warmbloods or Arabians. She is the dam of a premium foal and has been bred with fresh and frozen semen. Her full sister had an exceptional foal by Creme De La Creme. Still actively cycling for breeding this year.
