***She is barefoot in this picture and has not had any show training in 4 years!*** WW Autumn Breeze is 1 of Randy Wells's last hackney ponies born & shown before he passed away (Do a Google search for "Randy Wells Hackney Ponies"). WW Autumn Breeze was shown as a filly / young mare in halter, then I purchased her as a 3-year-old. Her Sire, WW Impressive Treasure AND Grand Sire, Late-Nite’s Blank Check are STILL breeders sweepstakes eligible stallions AND she goes back to Dun-Haven Caress. She was bred to be a show pony. I purchased her to be able to learn to drive a pony and train to drive. This mare is well bred & well broke! She is safe! Appropriate for ladies' pleasure, children with light show pony experience, or combined driving. I never have to worry about lunging her before hitching her to a cart or before I hop on her bareback with either a halter or bridle (she thinks I am just getting up on her to give her a pony massage, LOL), no bucking, kicking, or negative behaviors. She is never "mare-ish" even when in heat. She ties, cross ties, picks up and holds up her feet well, when I pick out her feet I don't even tie her up, she stands well for fly spray, clipping her is a breeeeezzzzeee... She will move her head so you can learn how to clip the throat latch with ease, I literally just sit on the ground when clipping her lower legs because I have found she just stands there, I don't have to tie her when clipping her, no supplements needed, her coat stays shiny/healthy and she stays fit with grass hay only (no feed supplements needed), not barn sour, not buddy sour, does not whinney to her barn buddies when in the cart or when I am out riding her bareback, likes her dog buddies to come on drives/rides with her. She is kept in a stall with an outdoor run, I do not have any issues catching her in the paddock run or round pen. I can do hoof work with a dermal and she stands without having to be tied up. She is a wonderful pony - when I had a catastrophic spiral fracture of my dominant R hand, this pony helped rehab my hand and regain function of my hand, she always was gentle and kind-hearted. We hate to see her go, but we have moved up to a 14H gypsy and can not board two horses/ponies. If you are looking for a nice driving pony this is your opportunity to pick up a 7-year-old mare in the prime of her life! I have never attempted to bred her, never bred by Randy Wells to my knowledge . (If you are looking for a long-tail hackney pony I have photos of when I used to keep up her tail; her tail can grow! I used to cut off 8-12 inches each spring and when kept up she grows a very full hackney tail! Since my spiral fracture of my R hand using farming equipment I have kept her tail short and not tied up - had help doing it for the picture, will start to keep it up to give her a chance to grow it out more for people who are looking for long-tail pony.
