Sully is a fancy, gorgeous BAREFOOT 9 yr old, 16.2h gelding with no maintenance!
He’s been an absolute gentleman at my barn. Great ground manners and super easy to handle, comes to me every time in pasture. He is so very sweet and will stand quietly in the crossties all day.
He is a very good boy with a good brain, not spooky, no naughty behavior and no vices. He’s schooling up to 2nd level movements, hacks out alone, has jumped up to 3’ at home and 2’6” at shows (with a Junior on lease), popped over logs and I’ve even ridden him bareback WTC.
I feel like there were holes in his jump training so I’ve just been focusing on lots of trot jumps and keeping him straight and balanced to the jumps but he is super willing and will jump anything you point him at. Under saddle he can be a bit of a worrier if he’s unsure of what you are asking. He doesn’t do anything bad just gets tight in the back. In the short time he’s been with me the worriedness has improved tremendously so with continued training it will just get better and better. He thrives when given the chance to bond with and develop a trust with his rider so not suited for a lesson program.
He’s the type of consignment horse that you wish would be bought by someone that wants to keep him in your program because he’s so much fun, he tries so hard and is just an easy horse to have around and on top of all that he’s also pretty to look at.
