Quality, 4 year old purebred Irish Draught mare, Lile na Casca (Lile), is now available. Her pedigree includes some strong old Irish Draught jumper bloodlines. She will make a great addition to someone’s breeding program or a fantastic show horse. Lile is one of the very few Irish Draught horses available in North America. The Irish Draught breed is renowned for is strength, intelligence, courage, durability and gentle temperament and Lile is a true reflection of the breed.

She is by Gemstone Clover out of a Flagmount King (Grade A Show Jumper) mare. She will make at least 17hh and has excellent conformation.

Lile has a wonderful quiet and willing temperament and loves to learn. She is not mare'ish in any way. She is athletic with a free flowing and ground covering stride in all gaits. She can go in any direction with her strong jumper pedigree and also the movement and capabilities for dressage.

Lile has been started by a professional dressage rider. She was an exceptionally easy start and is going very well walk, trot, canter under saddle. Due to her age, size and because the Irish Draught is a slow growing breed she had not been rushed in her training or jumped except to test her skills free jumping when she turned four....and she loved it.
