Meet Spark! Due to changes in her rider's health, she needs to find a new owner who wants to be her new best friend. She started her life with a year of reining training but didn't work out as a youth prospect for the people who bred her. She is very well trained and has skills that I have not used. She is a horse that needs leadership but kind handling. In 3 years of riding she has never bucked or run away with her 70+-year old rider. I have shown her in some trail competitions including the National Championships in Eugene, Oregon. We have also done some trail riding and she has done well, she's honest and hard-working, not spooky. Also, she isn't a mare who has issues with her estrus, it's not a problem like it is with some mares. This mare has impeccable ground manners, you can clip her and she's good for shots and the farrier. She does have a slight unevenness in her stride which I believe is the result of an old injury that happened before I bought her but it has never caused any discomfort that she has shown or that has affected her ability to perform.
