Faea - G-Line Hanoverian Mare 17 year old this year, 15.2/15.3 h German Hanoverian mare out of Gaea (Goodman x Pisa) by Fabuleux Stallion. Faea has been trained through 2nd level. She was bred via AI and took the first time and had a flawless delivery and healthy foal. She was a wonderful mother. I purchased her to use her a broodmare but I am downsizing my herd due to going in a different business direction with our sales. Faea went back to work for full time training and her price will increase every month per training and boarding fee. Faea is up to date on all shots, vaccines, and had injections in her SI, Hocks, and Stifles due to being off as a mother for a couple years and off work (to keep her comfortable). Full lameness exam and she is ready to go and healthy and sound. She has incredible feet and does not wear shoes and is currently requires no maintenance. I do give my horses regular massage, bemer, and chiro treatments. She has MANY years left in her. She is athletic, motivated, loves to work, and is clearly an athlete. She is sensitive and knows her job well. With that being said I am NOT a dressage rider - and I have only done hunters. So I am a bit out of my element with the dressage world. But I have been told by dressage riders and trainers in the area she is something special. The pro's of this mare is that under saddle (even after years off) - she has no buck, no rear, no bolt, not spooky, and she is all business. She does not tire and gives it her all. She has actually had a couple inexperienced riders on her for lessons and she took great care of them. She is ready to go in the show ring OR will make an incredible broodmare due to her fabulous blood lines! The vice of this mare is she is TOP of the herd pecking order. She is THE BOSS. So keep that in mind. She is also pushy on the ground - we are working on this with her. I do believe her one and only rider and trainer before coming to me did not focus on ground work. So she will need to learn respect on the ground - nothing silly but she can be pushy. She also does not like her mouth being messed with - very mouth shy (except when putting on her bridle she is easy to bridle). So with de-worming I put her paste in grain and she eats it all. She is NOT a picky eater. Easy keeper and also doesn't get "fat". So easy to maintain this mare. Transportation available within 8 hours of Oconto, WI9
