Beautiful mahogany bay 5year old ANCCE approved Andalusian stallion. Desafio stands at solid 16.2hh and has the most comfortable gaits you’ve ever sat on. He is young but extremely smart and willing and is working on all third level movements including half passes and now started flying changes- pretty cool for a 5yo! (I included the not so perfect changes in the video. It was only a second week that we were playing with them, they’ll be inproved in no time). Fio is always game, enjoys his work and learns very quickly.
Desafio would suit an experienced amateur in a program wanting to develop an uncomplicated young horse through the levels and have fun with. He was trail ridden when he was first backed and so far has proven to be bombproof, ie no spook or look at anything ever.
A stallion that lives in the same barn as mares and cross ties next to geldings without any issue. Good ground manners, loves attention and a playful sweet personality.
Desafio is home bred and raised and is still owned by his breeders here in California therefore full history is known and his Dam and siblings could be seen.
He’s unspoiled with no bad habits or vices.
