Garth is a wonderful 5-year-old Quarter-Horse Gelding. Garth stands at a 14.2 hands. Garth is a once-in-a-lifetime gelding that is so versatile that there is not one thing that I would be afraid to ask Garth to attempt. Garth is extremely athletic and is also well-balanced for his age. Despite being only five years old, Garth has seen numerous different trails, road traffic, and obstacles. Garth has been across bridges, railroad tracks, creeks, ponds, and highway bridges. Garth can also ride alone or take the lead in a group, he’s extremely fearless. Garth has also been jumping and roping the dummy when he is not in the water! This boy loves water, swimming is his absolute favorite activity. Garth has excellent manners both in the barn and in the pasture. Garth can be ridden with loose rein and neck reins and direct reins and will move off your leg including side passing. He is extremely easygoing and will even carry a flag w/t/l without blinking an eye! Garth can be pastured either alone or with other animals. Garth is also great with kids! He will lope the barrel pattern with kids or tote a kid around a W/T/L class with absolutely no issues. Garth will even stay in one-strand nylon wire without any concerns. You can tie Garth anywhere, he also ground ties! If you were looking for a gelding to do any type of trail or obstacle classes with, that would be a breeze for Garth as he already opens gates crosses, crosses bridges walks over tarps without any complications.

Garth is extremely easy to catch in the pasture and is very well-behaved for both the Farrier and the Veterinarian. Garth is also extremely calm and pleasant when he is being groomed, and given baths. In the arena, Garth knows both his leads, and has been started on lead changes, and is a natural. Garth will frame up beautifully and will ride in any type of bit you ask him to ride in and will even ride in a halter and lead rope without complications. Garth has an extremely nice whoa and will do so off of your seat when asked. Whether you throw him in the hunter ring, roping pen, pleasure arena, or do some jumping with him, Garth is an open slate that is going to be a breeze to take and do any discipline that you prefer.

Garth has a pre-purchase exam, which is attached to his ad. Garth is also up-to-date on Coggins, dental, work, and spring shots. He is 100% sound with perfectly clean legs and excellent feet. Once Garth is sold he will also have a Health Certificate.
