Midas has the most puppy dog, in your pocket personality I’ve ever met in a horse! He loves attention and is always a barn favorite due to his charming personality. He is currently turned out with one mare but has been in group turn out with mares and geldings. Always the low man on the totem pole. Extremely easy to catch, meets you at the gate. Very honest with no buck, rear or bite. He loads great, crossties, and stands for the farrier and vet. No health issues and he is up to date on vaccines, dental and hoof care. He has always been barefoot with no issues. He handles new environments easily and is a very easy keeper. Midas has been used for casual riding for the 3 years I have had him. He has been worked inside and outside of arenas, used to share a fence line with cows and has been ridden around them a few times. He is very safe and willing to learn. He has been out of consistent work for a year so he is not for a beginner due to his low miles, but is safe enough for an intermediate rider and up. It wouldn’t take long to get him going again and back in shape. He will try with his whole heart for you in any direction you choose. He would also be extremely happy to just be someone’s new best friend! He can be ridden English or Western (does not neck rein). He is the same horse whether you ride him consistently or pull him out of the pasture after a few months. Nice mover, comfortable gaits and he knows voice commands. Midas is only for available due to my husband & I moving overseas for the next few years because of the military. He deserves his own person to love on him. Willing to help arrange shipping at buyers expense! We moved from Texas to Virginia last year (military again) and he traveled beautifully. This is a very difficult decision and I want to find him the best home possible. I am in contact with his breeder and have all his baby photos! I would love to stay in touch with his new owner to hear how he thrives. Please text or call for more pictures, videos and info. Price is very negotiable, a wonderful home is most important!
