Have you ever dreamed of owning that Once In A Lifetime Horse that just don’t come by everyday!Well we have found him for you!!Meet the one and only DRIFTER A 4yr old Registered blue roan Friesian/Percheron cross gelding Sire Friesian(BARKLEY FON LACLAR) Dam blue roan Percheron (Dixie) Standing right at 17 hnds and yes he’s a big boy but don’t let his size fool you, he’s just a big ole puppy dog and has a very loving Personality,Loves all the attention from little kids rubbing on him and is as gentle as they come. Drifter is very well trained to ride both English and Western and also drives the very best,Hes seen a lot of outside miles in open fields and on the roads,we’ve rode and drove him to town many times,traffic does not bother him one bit, he’s been on many trails and has been hauled to state parks,he crosses creeks,logs,goes through thick brushes and been in Rough terrain. Drifter rides very well in the arena as well with his dressage and western riding, he has a one hand neck rein but does also ride simple with two hands. Difter is very soft in the bridle, he knows the leg cues and will come off your leg ,side passes, pivots, will open/close gates. There hasn’t been anything that phases this specific guy, he’s great with the tarps, bull whip, balls, gunshots and is great with dogs and other animals around him, Little kids crawling all over him between his legs and he has no Care in the world also loves being brush and pampered by little ones! Drifter has had all levels of riders and is safe for the beginners,It don’t matter how you wanna ride him, bareback ,bridless, he’ll carry 3 at the same time, he will also lay down in the saddle on cue and sits up like a dog. Drifter is great in the stall or out in pasture and meets you at the gate, He ties, loads great in trailer and is great to haul, he’s very good with the farrier and stands patiently, also good to be bathed. This guy would definitely make a great dressage horse and sure has been a joy to train and has the training you need, hes ready for whatever direction you choose,Hes easy to push forward in the trot when asked and is very smooth in both trot and canter, He does very well on his Transitions and does very well on his lateral work.
