Josie is looking for a leaser, young teen-adult!

Josie is an 19yr old 15.1hh paint mare with lots of energy and a big personality! She is talented, safe, willing and very fun to ride, but challenging as she will test you to ride your best! Her owner has been working on ranch riding with her, and they attended her first show last year which she handled like a champ, placing well in her classes. Josie loves people and is a total sweetheart that’ll follow you around like a puppy. Under saddle she is forward with a lot of impulsion & she collects beautifully when asked. She has no dangerous habits under saddle or on the ground, but she needs someone confident with a lot of horse power under them. To maintain her training and for her leaser to maximize their experience, they must take one lesson per week with onsite trainer. We’re looking for someone to be part of a small and tight knit barn community, and benefit from the support of peers and a trainer. Someone passionate about developing their skills as a rider will enjoy a horse like Josie. Josie has her own well fitting tack so leaser does not need to supply their own. Facilities include indoor and outdoor arena and round pen. We have some ranch trail obstacles, a cowtrac flag as well as opportunities to work live cattle in lessons.

$300/month includes 2 rides per week, leaser must also take one lesson per week while they learn to work with Josie. Possibility for an adjustment as time goes on.
