Bruce is sweet, kind, willing & affectionate gelding, who is looking for his new partner. He has been to various clinics (both groundwork & riding), where he quietly participated, and stabled overnight in new environments. He's been on multiple beach rides, and on trails both alone and in groups. Bruce had three months of professional training in 2020. I stopped riding him in the same year, after purchasing a new horse. I am looking for a new home for him due to no fault of his own.
Bruce needs a quiet, confident rider. He would be an ideal match for an experienced adult or teenager. He is not suitable for a beginner, as he can be forward. He is best suited for pleasure/recreational riding.
He has been re-started this Spring on a lunge line/groundwork. He has been quietly willing to do whatever has been asked of him. He does best when he is kept in consistent work, and re-starts willingly after time off.
Bruce is currently kept on pasture with free access to a run-in shed. He gets along well with other horses, and respects electric fencing. He does best when he is allowed ample turn-out time, and room to move. He does require blanketing in the winter, during inclement weather. He wears full shoes, and is currently on a daily joint supplement. He is UTD on vaccinations, dental, de-worming, & hoof care.
Bruce will make a fantastic equine partner for the right person.
