Socks is a good all-around mare. At the age 5 she went through 90 days of training by a professional trainer. She responds to leg cues, neck reining, as well as some vocal commands. In 2018 she was used as a Pendleton Round Up court horse. Has been through a small parade packing a flag and been around large crowds with lots of noise. Will jump over at least a 3-foot jump without issues. She has been patterned on barrels and pole bending but never competed. During her training they took her to a few roping's, but we have never roped off of her so will not guarantee that she is good under a rope. On our ranch we have used her to check fence, push cattle, and trail ride. She will go all day. Three years ago, she had a foal that we own, had no complications with the birthing and went right back to riding once able. Would not recommend for a beginner rider because she does like to get up and go. https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PL_Gpr7IV9T7Wg1Bsme2h66EzS053FO3fi&si=KnhCvmCUcfl7y4eX
