Irish Draught Sport Horse mare by Goldmaker xx (approved RPSI Book I, Westfalen and German Oldenburg Horse Breeders Society) and out of the lovely Irish Draught mare Shamrock Breeze. Nora boasts a pedigree of exceptional athletes and proven jumpers, including showjumping heavy-hitters Ginger Dick (sire of Olympic jumper Flash La Silla), King of Diamonds (ranked 7th successful show jumping sire in 1991) and Battleburn xx (sired the famous Boomerang that later won the Hickstead Derby four times in succession). Additionally, with over 50% blood, she is bred in the blue for performance and has animated movement.
She is anticipated to mature to a handy 16-16.2h and be a reliable mid-level eventing and pleasure riding mount.
Nora is available to an approved home with experience with young horses and knowledgeable horsemanship skills. Her personality thrives on attention. Though she is a bit mare-ish and opinionated at times, she quickly concedes to correct and gentle handling.
She is kept up-to-date on vaccines, deworming and trims. Pacific Northwest home strongly preferred. Sold with retained first right refusal (buy-back), nonnegotiable. Serious inquiries only. Vet, farrier and trainer references will be required.
