Rockhart is a very handsome 2013 16’2, almost 16’3 Friesian gelding.

I have had Rocky since he was five months old. I did all the groundwork with him, and he was sent to a trainer when he was three and a half years old. He is double registered with FPVZ and Friesian Sport Association. Unfortunately, Rocky has surpassed me in my abilities and is ready for his new partner to take on the show ring! Beautiful, comfortable gaits with forward energy,” Rocky” has tons of show miles and is a very solid Second Level Dressage show horse. He is schooling Third Level with a change. He has a solid piaffe, and his passage is well started. He is a USDF All-Breeds Champion 2nd Level. He has been in full training since he was started and is a wonderful horse to partner with.

Rocky is a joy to have in the barn, in-your-pocket and very easy to do almost anything with. He loves to be doted on, bathed, and groomed. He is easy for the shoer and vet—no vices and easy to trailer. He has been ridden on trails and has enjoyed them. I wanted him to be all-rounded and experience all he can. He is not spooky at all, just curious about his surroundings.

Rocky appreciates a confident rider and would be well suited for someone looking to step up and be more competitive. He is sensitive to the leg and hand but not too much so, and has a great engine while maintaining adjustability. He’s fun and knows his stuff!

Rocky has never had any soundness issues and has recent x-rays available for your veterinarian’s review. Make Rocky your next Friesian partner and go out and have some fun showing classical riding or maybe a pas de deux!
