Sound, healthy retired racehorse, looking for a rider that might enjoy an easy trail ride or perhaps some low-level dressage. Stan has been used in Working equitation up to Novice A level. Vet checked and negative for arthritis last fall. Stan is a A+ citizen!

Quirks-
Stan can be very "unflappable" but can at times be stubborn. Like many racehorses he wind sucks but is not a cribber. He is great alone and will be the herd boss in a group setting.

We have never had problems with the farrier, trailering, fly masks, coolers/blankets, fly spray, and such. The most common judge comments in our dressage shows were "needs more energy", he is very much an ambler.

I want to see him go to a great home with owners that can accept the quirks of the OTTB, and that will benefit from an easy go horse. Any sale will have a clause that should the new owner be unable to care or afford the necessary upkeep, Stanley will be returned to me.
