Her stout & proportional build make her a strong & naturally well balanced horse, great for riding + breeding. Maja’s sire is Álfadans frá Ingólfshvoli, a very popular first prize stallion, known for his tölt & his gorgeous mane. Maja’s unique coloring and social personality would produce exceptional offspring.

As a riding horse, Maja has a lovely sensitivity to the aids and likes to move forward. Her tolt is easy to find, and she dances in her shoulders. Maja moves nicely off of the leg and listens well to your voice.

Maja has been extensively trail ridden through many terrains. She is currently in professional training to continue to develop her education & gait quality.

Because Maja can have a hotter personality, she needs consistency in her work. She also needs an intermediate/experienced rider who can help her when she has energy to burn. She is a “one person” horse who needs to build a trusting relationship with her rider.
