13.1hh – 15 yr old – Welsh Pony Cross

Sadly and at no fault of his own, we have outgrown our Pony, so our beloved Duck is looking for his new best friend. Duck is a perfect pony for a beginner learning the ropes or an intermediate/advanced beginner looking to move up to polls, cross rails and jumps up to 2”3. Duck is great with kids and has been previously used in a beginner lesson program. He is a bit of a kick ride and needs some motivation to get going on the flat but loves to jump and really lights up in the jumping arena. He has a solid W/T/C with automatic lead changes and has been in a professional training program for 3 years. He also has a lot of show miles in both hunter/jumper and in eventing. Duck has great ground manners and stands quietly in the crossties, wash rack, and farrier. Duck can be a little skittish around wildlife (mostly turkeys) and does take Prescind to manage low levels of Cushings. Duck has been a wonderful first pony for our family and we are most interested in finding the perfect home for him, so all reasonable offers will be considered.
