“Sime Lopin” is a 2017 APHA gelding son of Lopin Lazy a multiple world champion sire who is currently in the top five leading sires for halter class winners, point earning halter horses, performance class winners, and point earning performance horses of 2023. Lopin Lazy is by the famous Lazy Loper. ▪️ “John” is a true sweetheart and easy to love, he will leave other horses in the pasture to walk up to you when you call his name. Standing at a solid 16 hands, John will also step up to just about anything for you to climb on him. John has been trail ridden extensively across the Midwest, he crosses water, goes through the woods, fields, and rocky terrain without hesitation. He has been overnight camping. John has been on cattle, ridden bareback, and neck reins. He is a rockstar in the arena with a solid walk, trot, lope, stop, and back. John is great with his leads, and is working on varying speeds in each gait. He is also working on lateral movements and isolating his front and hind end movement. He does great with ground work and shows great potential for liberty work as well. ▪️ John stands great for the vet, farrier, and bathing. He loads and hauls like a dream. John is up to date on all cares. ▪️ John would be best suited to a show home, or someone more arena focused. He would do well in hus, English or western dressage, western pleasure, ranch pleasure, liberty or halter. While John will do trails, if he is in a large group (~15+) he will “jig” and get anxious. He doesn’t do anything more, no rearing, bucking, etc. John can also be a little head shy and can occasionally pull back when tied if he is aggressively handled near his head. ▪️ John is located in Hudson, Wisconsin. PPE is welcome at the buyers expense. ▪️ VIDEO: https://youtu.be/v7rZsaIXBZE ▪️ Please don’t hesitate to reach out with any questions!
