R Secret Sunrise “Wes” is a 6 year old appaloosa gelding. Approximately 16 hands tall and well built. Quiet demeanor yet not dull. Has a wealth of experience in multiple disciplines. Was started as a Western show horse but transitioned to Jumping and Dressage fundamentals within the last year. He can go any direction! Currently is schooling low level Hunter and Equitation courses. Is green over fences but brave, willing, and enjoys his job. He breezes through Training level tests, can easily move into First and Second levels with the right rider. Has a great start on lateral movements. Has been hauled to shows since he was a yearling. Did the Appaloosa circuit till he was 5 years old. Showed in the Lunge Line as a yearling, Walk/Trot classes as a 2 year old, and Walk/Trot/Lope from then on. Has shown in Trail, Western Pleasure, Western Horsemanship, Showmanship, English Pleasure, and English Equitation. Has spent multiple academic years in a collegiate riding program teaching a variety of riders as well as competing in IHSA Horse Shows. A very honest boy! Easy to haul and show. He is sound, well minded, great for farrier and all vet work.
