Goldie is your once in a lifetime horse! Not only she a Palomino, the color everyone wants, she has mane & tail for DAYS! Goldie can take care of beginners BUT also fancy for more advanced riders. This will be your Go-To horse for family & friends. This walking horse can gait correctly, AND lope around on the correct lead as well. She backs, sidepasses, yields her hind quarters, moves her shoulders, can flat walk all day ON A LOOSE REIN, has a one rein stop, stops off your seat, or stops with 2 reins. She has been through Clinton Anderson's fundamental groundwork training and knows all those exercises very well. She will go over any obstacle, manmade or natural. She rides out alone or with others, goes anywhere you want. She takes hills up and down slow, very sure footed. Loads, ties, stands for mounting/dismounting, mount either side, & stands for the farrier quietly. We ride her in a simple snaffle bit most days, but can also ride in a correction bit. She is the ultimate professional out on the trail. She has been overnight camping, been there-done it horse. Absolutely no buck, bite, kick, or general silliness. Goldie is fine being stalled and gets along well with other horses in the pasture. I am the second owner, she has not been passed around, an older gentleman bred, raised, broke and rode her prior to me(8 years). He was simply thinning his heard due to his age. *Please watch her video, and you will see how nice she is. She's not one of these walkers who only knows forward-forward-forward. If you want relaxing trail rides with the smoothness of gaited Goldie is your girl. She also has very nice bloodlines going back to Prides Generator. To my knowledge, she has not bred before. **Goldie does have a hip deformity that causes her to track a little different, in the back end at times. She has been vetted and is not lame. I have no idea what happened to cause this, when I purchased her, she was very overweight and it was not noticeable. Now that she has been conditioned and lost the excess weight you can see it more clearly. She is currently being ridden 3/4 times a week with no issues. the last picture shows a little but as you can see from the video it does not affect her riding at all. Vet checks are welcome at buyers expense. She is a great value for a super well trained horse. She has been with me since June 2022, ridden consistently 3/4 times a week, and is a healthy, hearty mare. She is UTD on coggins, vaccines, and gets shod every 6 weeks(4 keg shoes) ***I have priced Goldie to reflect her hip deformity. If this had not been uncovered as she went through my training program, she would be priced for much, much more. In other words-no tire kickers or anyone "curious' about her. She is a wonderful, sweet tempered horse that deserves a wonderful family that can enjoy her for many years.
