Moose is an 11 year old 14.3 half morgan carrying a 3/4 morgan foal due next April. She and her foal are packed with royal morgan bloodlines- her sire is by the legendary Pardon my French, and she is in foal to a Mizrahi grandson. Her dam was a Paint x Irish Sporthorse- so this foal may be colorful!
Moose is brave, strong, and fun. This mare has thousands of miles of trails under her belt, both ridden and packed. She has been risen all over the Eagle Caps, the Blue Mountains, The Cascade Mountains and up in the My Jefferson wilderness. She has been all over Oregon. Lead or follow, she will guide your young horses or settle in the middle or back of a group. Ride her in a snaffle, curb, hackamore, or just a halter. She is safe and reliable for riders of any age and experience, and she LOVES kids! Take her to the beach or the mountains, she will be the same reliable horse everywhere, every day. She has also ridden in several parades. Cross bridges, and water, go over logs, any kind of terrain- Moose is confident through it all. She is very safe around dogs all around her feet and on trails. She is a pleasure to camp with and has years of experience doing trail maintenance- you don’t even have to get off to cut branches!
Moose thrives in a herd setting where she is top of the pecking order. She is an easy keeper with no maintenance- wearing just front shoes.
Moose stands perfectly for the farrier, baths, and clipping. Point her at the trailer and she hops right in and backs right out!
