I have a 7 year old MFT gelding. Gentle, calm, no buck, no rear. No bad habits. No blemishes besides bit marks from my gelding. Sound.. Currently has shoes on in the front. He is a Trail horse that was previously ridden by beginners in the company of other horses, so he has a limited education.
I have been teaching him to move off the leg, he now turns well with a light hand. Side pass is coming along and i am teaching him to side pass to the mounting block In the pasture he Racks, Foxtrots, Run Walks . Under sadddle he does a Stepping Pace that is fast and smooth. I ride him alone all over my property and down the private road without issue. Desensitized to tarp, garbage, birdges, farm equipment and more. Loads and unloads well. He does his best pastured with other horses.. .He would not do well as the only horse. Many videos available.
