It only takes one glance and ride on this stunning dun gelding to undoubtedly fall in love with him at first sight! “Roman” is a 7 year old draft cross gelding standing 15.2-15.3 HH. It doesn’t take a Cowboy to see that Roman is the horse version of a Cadillac, from his rocking chair lope, gorgeous color, and cool guy demeanor, he’s got it all! If draft cross, gentle, safe, and easy to ride are on your list of priorities, consider this guy to be the newest member of your family. Roman was bred, raised, and trained on the same farm his whole life and is proof of a great quality training program. He has all the buttons a person could ever want and is nearly bombproof. He will WTC without a bridal, moves off of leg pressure, side passes, pivots on his haunches and has voice and seat transitions. He is the same horse no matter how much time he’s had off and has absolutely no buck, bite, bolt, or rear. We’ve personally had beginners ride Roman on the trails, making him a proven candidate for your beginner friends to ride or even a perfect husband horse. On the trails Roman goes through water, over logs and on all types of terrain. Point him and any direction and he will take you there! Roman can ride in the front or back of the pack, although he does prefers being a leader. He also rides out alone without hesitation and is the horse willing to take care of you! He loads on the trailer with ease and stands tied to be groomed, bathed, and saddled. He will be the first to meet you at the gate, and is good in the pasture or in a stall. Roman is the definition of simplicity! If you’re looking for a smooth, simple, and uncomplicated horse to make memories with, Roman is your guy!
