Bella is a kind and lovely 13 yr old Arab/Saddlebred mare, now available for in-barn lease just outside Bellingham WA. She's been ridden for three years by my daughter, an experienced rider who adores Bella but just doesn't have enough time for her right now. Bella has great work ethic and is best suited for a confident high intermediate to advanced rider as she can be a bit hot at times and has the occasional spook. She is training in first level Dressage, working on leg yielding and shoulder-in, practicing a nice collected trot and canter, still working on softness and bending. Absolutely beautiful mover and very smooth to ride. She has also enjoyed practicing small jumps before she began dressage training.
She's an in-your-pocket mare with a ton of personality, and loves to be doted on. Excellent ground manners, really enjoys ground work and learning tricks.
All costs covered except for initial lesson(s) with Bella's trainer so you can get to know this special horse! Regular rides and exercise would be ideal, but we're flexible. She currently boards at a nice barn with a covered arena, 10 minutes outside of Bellingham.
