He stands 51 inches tall. Brownie is an all around kind of pony. We have used him in parades. He has been on lots of trail rides and is started on the barrels. He has been run in the exhibition and regular races. He has been to a couple play day horse shows. He has won lots of ribbons. Brownie is trained to pull a cart / carriage. He is very easy to drive. Brownie has tracked a few calves. He has been roped off of some but not a lot. He is not scared to take a jerk and will pull from the saddle horn. Brownie has a easy one hand neck rein with a great stop and he will back up easy. Brownie is started in the trick training – lay down and sit up. DO NOT MISS THE VIDEOS!!! BROWNIE IS NOT A BEGINNER TYPE PONY HE DOES HAVE A LITTLE MOTOR ON HIM . If your kid knows basic horsemanship, they will be fine, but I do not recommend him for a very small child’s first pony.
