Dude is a 4-year-old registered, blue roan gelding who stands 14.1h and is 92% foundation bred. He is the first to meet you at feeding time and is super easy to catch. He can be an in your pocket horse and loves attention. He stands tied, is quiet while being bathed and groomed. He loads, leads, and saddles easy. He has no problem with a farrier. He’s a gentle soul. He has been used for trail riding and parades. Last Christmas we wrapped his head, belly, and tail with Christmas lights, hung bells from the breast collar and rode him in a parade with other horses. He didn’t give us any problems even with the firetruck’s lights and noise. He was trained using cutting training techniques, so he has a nice handle on him and moves out smooth. We have started him in the roping box on the heel side and have practiced breakaway roping on him with live cattle. He moves off leg pressure and has a big stop to him. He stays broke when left off and gets along well with other horses in a pen or pasture. We had a beginner ride him and he took care of her even when her body and hands were giving him mixed signals. As long as you know how to ride, you could definitely handle him. He’s hasn’t done anything wrong with anyone who has rode him. He would be a great breakaway, calf roping or heel side prospect. *PPE available at interested parties expense*
