Are you needing a stocky, confident, been there done that horse, that has enough heart to ride you all day everyday. If so Fred here may just be your guy. Fred is a beautiful 12 year old sorrel grade MFT gelding with a gorgeous flaxen mane and tail. He stands 15hh and is built like a crossbred. He’s as wide as he is tall. We have had Fred close to 6 months and have really enjoyed him. We have carried him out riding on several big trips and even used him as a pack horse on a few occasions. Fred is a forward moving horse and loves to be the lead horse. He will follow along but is going to be a little more forward behind then in front. This is the only thing that would keep us from saying that he is a true anyone horse. He’s not bad just isn’t as slow and laid back as he is any other time. Other than that he is fantastic. He handles the very best, rides out with or without company. Stands dead still to be mounted or dismounted. Extremely confident and isn’t spooky. He is very good gaited and so smooth. He has a very smooth ground covering running walk with a lot of head-shake. He is a phenomenal trail horse that is very sure footed and will go anywhere you point him. Crosses all types of water, falling logs and slippery rocks. He’s great in traffic and is wildlife and livestock safe.
