In the field, in the arena, or out on the trail, Xena is a steady mount who is up for any adventure. For the last few years, Xena has participated in our riding program and been ridden by walk/trot students up through long-stirrup A/As, with the same willingness to please no matter who takes the reins. She is a little bit of a forward ride, forward thinker, but will remain in her current gait to wait for the rider cue to her for a transition. Safe under saddle for young riders or inexperienced adults, on the trail, over x-country jumps, or in the show arena. She's a consistent horse for every ride. https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLZ5aeMMhaG6TLZ1JftFA90U26Jiyhp1kH Note: She is not suited for an inexperience handler on the ground in situations that make her uncomfortable. She does NOT bite, kick or ill-intention, but she crowds the handler leading to an unintentional body check to the handler. She is easily corrected & will stay out of the handler's space is the handler is aware of what is happening & able to ask her to stay out of their space.
