I’m selling my 17 y/o Quarter Horse gelding because he needs someone who has more time to enjoy him out on the trails. 15.3 hh. in Tacoma, WA. If you are looking for a true Heart Horse, he is really ready to be loved by a caring and kind new owner. He was being ridden consistently 2-3 times a week. He’s mostly been riding on the trails and in the arena. He has a Western flare and tends to have be into gaming and barrel racing. He uses a bridle with light bit. Diesel is be very responsive to cues and knows his leads. Loves to learn. He needs an experienced rider as he can be nervous in new or “scary” situations. Not a beginners horse as he has more Go than Whoa. Drop dead gorgeous and a nice smooth gait. His personality is sweet, he's super smart and respectful of your space. Very friendly to everyone. He loves to learn new things, and has mostly done lots of arena work, his ground work is sound. He trailers, halters, ties, loads, will stand all day for brushing, willing to take his bit and saddle, and is great with the farrier and the vet. Teeth floated in 2922, UTD on all vaccinations and worming. Not a candidate for Strangles vaccine due to antibodies too high. Currently with front shoes. Healthy and sound. He will be a fun ride for that experienced rider!
